Hiya everyone, and welcome to DAbloopers.
After having many funfilled conversations with friends about the things that have, and can go wrong during a photoshoot, humorous, or not.. it came up, on several occassions about making a 'deviant art bloopers account', that way we can all share our stories and adventures with each other.
So, wether you're a model, a photographer, or just happened to be in the right (wrong) place at the right (wrong) time.. if u have a blooper to share with us, please join the group (send me a note), support us by adding us to ure watch and if u are so inclined, add our avatar to ure journals. Send all submissions to dabloopers@gmail.com along with a short description, and ure user name, for me to submit.


*EDIT* There has been a bit of confusion in terms of what bloopers are, i apologise for being unclear in what we are looking for.
Basically, when i say 'blooper', what i mean is: A clumsy mistake, a faux pas. A shot snapped when the model/subject wasn't ready, or their facial expression was a bit odd, etc. That kind of thing..
Also, Photographers it might be an idea to get the OK from ure models/subjects, just to save face..

'Photography Resolutions Guidelines
In an effort to make the photography gallery more convenient to browse, and also to encourage you to present your work in the most attractive manner possible, images should be no smaller than 300 pixels on the shortest side, and up to 1280 pixels on the longest side.

Artistic Photographs Containing Nudity: Please note that nude and partial nude photographs are only acceptable in the Art Photography: People & Portraits: Artistic Nude, the Fetish Portraits and the Glamour Portraits subcategories. General nude snapshots and low resolution photographs can be submitted only to scraps. All nude images are subject to the rules of the Nudity Policy. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in your deviations being removed or suspended pending the receipt of appropriate model release forms.

Gallery: Art Photography

Though this division may seem redundant it's not. There are several different motivations in taking a photograph. Commercial and Photojournalism (also listed here) are a couple of examples. Art Photography is intended for art-for-art's-sake: photographs taken because they relate meaning, because they've captured beauty.

Remember that art is as much skill and talent as it is intention. An art photograph should be taken with due respect to lighting, focus, composition, contrast, color harmony, and so on.

Gallery: Snapshots

Snapshots are photographs that aren't taken with any of the other motivations listed here. They're not artsy, nor are they commercial, nor are they journalistic. It's just a photo. Maybe it's a picture of your dog. Could be a picture of your brother. Maybe it's just a sign you saw on the way to work that you thought was funny...

Paying attention to the artistic merits of a photo is important here at deviantART, so be advised that the definition of Snapshots given is particular to deviations that generally lack attention to things like lighting, focus, composition, and so on. Submissions that observe these points of photography should not be classified as Snapshots.

Please note that items submitted into this category will be entered into your Scrapbook rather than your Gallery.

I hope each and everyone of you can understand why, as i would hate to see something you contributed to this group be removed completely.
